Buffalo has announced that the DriveStation HD-HXU3, the first readily-available SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external hard drive in the market, is now available in the United States. Available in 1TB, 1.5TB, and 2.0TB capacities, the DriveStation HD-HXU3 offers faster transfer rates of up to 625MB per second, making fast file transfers and storages of high-resolution graphics, digital audio and video, and other large-sized multimedia files. The DriveStation is also backward-compatible and works with all USB 2.0-enabled devices, as well as upcoming USB 3.0 models. And as expected, it comes with a two-port USB 3.0 PCI Express Interface Card for faster data transfer speeds and the Memeo AutoBackup software to securely manage and backup your files.
