Apple re-launched its new iMac line with the latest high-speed Thunderbolt. Also new iMac family is also stuffed with the quad-core processor technology, powerful new graphics, and completeness of FaceTime ® HD camera.
Priced starting price of USD 1199, the new iMac line is claimed to have 70 percent faster performance, especially the new graphics capabilities to provide up to three times the performance of previous generations. Allegedly reached 10 Gbps speed, or twice that of USB 3.0.
Besides being equipped with technology Thunderbolt, iMac latest series is also supported by an Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz quad-core processors. Users can choose the iMac with Intel Core i7 specs 3.4GHz speed on the Apple online store. For graphics, Apple instill AMD Radeon HD Graphics with two options, HD 6750M and 6770M HD, depending on the type selected.
Both graphics card that makes this new iMac as an all-in-one PC with the best graphics power. The new iMac series comes in two models according to screen size, that is 21.5 inches and 27 inches.
For 21.5-inch iMac is available in two configurations: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processors, AMD Radeon HD 6750M and a 500 GB hard drive (sold at a price of USD in 1199), and another with a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processors, AMD Radeon HD 6770M and 1 TB hard drives (sold at a price of USD in 1499).
As for the iMac 27-inch, also available in two options: Intel Core i5 2.7 GHz quad-core processors, AMD Radeon HD 6770M and 1 TB hard drives (sold at a price of USD in 1699), and another one with specs Intel Core i5 3, 1 GHz quad-core processors, AMD Radeon HD 6970M and 1 TB hard drives (sold at a price of USD 1999).
Continuing commitment to Apple as a leader in green design for the environment, the iMac meets the Energy Star 5.2 and EPEAT Gold rating achieved. The new iMac series also features a LED-backlit display is mercury-free and made with arsenic-free glass. The new iMac family also uses PVC-free components and cables, contains no brominated flame, using highly recyclable materials and material-efficient features of the system and packaging design.
