BenQ Joybook S46 a cheap notebook with Nvidia Optimus integrated

A notebook that is integrated with Nvidia Optimus usually impressed expensive. But not so with the BenQ Joybook S46.

Joybook design is quite simple. Seen from the casing that wraps, no-frills impressive luxury. Apparently BenQ is relying on the features in this Joybook, along with a fairly large size, which satisfy the user's eyes.

Screen size is large enough, approximately 14 inches, equipped with a large enough resolution as well, reaching 1366x768 pixels. 8 millisecond response time and brightness to 200 nits. Because of the large size of the screen, the keypad buttons also adjust the space. In addition to flat shape, the size of each keypad is large enough so that makes comfortable typing process.

Joybook mainstay technology is the presence of an Intel Core I3 350 M, 2.26 GHz 3 MB cache. HM55 supported Intel chipset with Intel's HD graphics for displays and Integrated G310 graphics Nvidia CUDA 16 M and the processor capacity of 73 GFLOPS.

Nvidia graphics chips enough to contribute in terms of energy consumption, while also able to bring the display is quite bright, even to present the appearance of the 3D format though. Nvidia is the brand collateral for a display screen that is more alive in each notebook.

Joybook S46 Battery powered by lithium-ion 6-cell with a capacity of approximately 47 WHr or approximately 4300 mAh. BenQ claims the battery as it is able to produce endurance Joybook up to 4 hours while standby or remain lit.

Some features are integrated into the Joybook S46 is the flagship features that are often owned by any notebook. For example, support wireless connection wifi, optional Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, card reader 4-in-1, three USB 2.0 ports and an integrated webcam with 1.3 megapixel capacity.

Carried Joybook S46 Memory for DDR 3 approximately 2 to 4 GB with 320 GB HDD capacity, or approximately 5400 rpm. To operate the first time, users must install the operating system (OS) itself. Before you install another OS, Joybook will show an association with OS DOS devices.

If not included with the battery, the weight of the Joybook S46 is only approximately 1.95 kilograms.

Tips for Troubleshoot a Printer Cartridge

If your ink jet printer is not working properly it is important to check the print cartridges first. The print cartridges are a common source of problems with print quality.

Step 1
Use the print menu to align the print cartridges. If the print cartridges are misaligned they will not be able to print properly, resulting in poor color and imaging quality. The procedure for aligning print cartridges will vary by manufacturer, so consult the printer's manual. In Windows, you can often access the alignment menu by clicking "Start," choosing "All Programs," navigating to the name of the printer manufacturer and choosing "Align" from the menu.

Step 2
Clean the print cartridge nozzles. This should be done if the printer has gone unused for more than a month. Cleaning can usually be done via the same software utility used to align the cartridges.

Step 3
Lift the printer cover. The print cartridges will automatically move to the middle of the printer. Look at the print cartridges for any obvious signs of damage, like a cracked cover or dent.

Step 4
Lift up the flap that covers the print cartridge, then carefully pull the top of the cartridge forward until you hear a click. Pull the cartridge free of the printer and turn it upside down.

Step 5
Look for any dried ink on the bottom of the print cartridge where it fits into the printer. Use a cotton swab or a clean lint-free cloth to remove that dried ink. Set the ink cartridge aside, being sure to lay it on its side.

Step 6
Look at the interior of the printer where the ink cartridges fit into the printer. Look for any dried or caked ink and remove anything you find using the cotton swab or a clean cloth. After all dirt, debris and ink residue has been removed, replace the print cartridges and close the printer cover.

iPhoto a software application that can import, organize, edit, print and share digital photos

iPhoto is designed to allow importing from digital cameras, scanners, picture CDs and the Internet. Almost all digital cameras are recognized without additional software, as are many scanners. iPhoto supports most common image file formats.

After photos are imported, they can be optionally titled, labeled, sorted and organized into groups (known as "events"). Individual photos can be edited with basic image manipulation tools, such as a red-eye filter, contrast and brightness adjustments, crop and resize and other basic functions. iPhoto does not, however, provide the comprehensive editing functionality of programs such as GIMP, Apple's Aperture, or Adobe's Photoshop (not to be confused with Photoshop Elements or Album).

The current version of iPhoto, included with iLife '09, features facial recognition and allows for tagging and organizing photos by person. As well, iPhoto will read embedded GPS tags in photos and organize photos by location, represented by a pin on a map (powered by Google Maps). Photos taken using a camera that does not support geotagging can be manually tagged with a location within iPhoto.

Numerous options exist to share photos. Photo albums can be made into dynamic slideshows, and optionally set to music imported from iTunes. These slideshows can be exported to QuickTime movie files, further edited in iMovie or burned directly to DVD-video discs using iDVD. Both slideshows and static photos can be shared to other Macs on a local network by using the Bonjour "zero-configuration" technology. They can also be uploaded using simplified web publishing to Apple's MobileMe online service. iPhoto can also sync photo albums to any iPod with a color display. These iPods have an audio/video output that allow photos to be played back, along with music, on any modern television. Additionally, photos can be printed to a local printer, or, in certain markets, be sent over the internet to Kodak for professional printing. iPhoto users can order a range of products, including standard prints, posters and even 100-page hardcover or softcover volumes—again, such services are available only to users in certain markets.
